Kids Martial Arts Classes:
The BEST decision you can make for
You might naturally associate martial arts with hollywood stunts and kicks and punches, but the self-defense aspect of martial arts is just part of it.
Children that learn martial arts develop the confidence to know that if they are ever bullied, they have the skills they need to defend themselves. However, the real skill we teach is diffusing situations with words before they ever escalate to a physical level.
Unlike any other sport, Judo is unique in instilling in its students, confidence, self-esteem, and the ability to focus.
Judo also develops a level of body awareness and coordination that makes every participant a stronger, healthier and all-around better individual.
WHAT IS JUDO?
Judo was created in Japan in 1882 by Dr. Jigoro Kano.
Judo is one of the first modern martial arts to emerge from traditional JuJutsu. Judo is a very effective system of self defense that has evolved into a sport for all ages.
It's most prominent feature is it's competitive element, the object of which is to throw one's opponent to the ground, immobilize one's opponent with a grappling maneuver, or force one's opponent to submit.
It is considered one of the safest contact sports for children and adults.
